16" Turbine Flowmeters

Rockwin has recently produced 6 off Custody transfer Turbine Flowmeters of 16" (DN400) size. These are on order by two Oil companies for cross country petroleum pipelines.

The Turbine meters are in accordance with API codes and are with +/- 0.15% linearity, viscosity compensation shrouds and pulse frequency enhancement features. They will handle refined petroleum products with flow rates up to 4000 M3/Hr.

These are the largest size of Turbine flowmeters produced by Rockwin so far. Rockwin now becomes one of the very few Turbine meter manufacturers in the world who have produced such meters. 

Skid Mounted 16" Prover

Rockwin has produced and shipped a 16" Positive displacement prover to Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. Built under EIL inspection, this prover is designed in accordance with API 2531 / Chapter IV MOPMS. This is an online prover and will be used on the Mumbai Manmad pipeline for calibration of flowmeters for custody transfer of refined petroleum products.

The prover employs hydraulically operated high velocity launch / receive chambers. The diverter is a General 4-way valve mounted on a 16" lined prover loop. All the components , including hydraulic power pack and instrumentation, are mounted on a transportable skid. A local control panel  with duplicate  controls also has been provided, making it possible to operate the prover locally , if required.  The design of the prover fully meets  API requirements.
 
This is the first time a positive displacement prover has been built in India. Rockwin is proud at the addition of another "first" to their list of achievements.

The meter prover has now been successfully commissioned.
